I've had a damn good week to put it lightly. In one week I finished my Black Belt, got Melee Gloves +1, Abyss Cape, Lemegeton Medallion +1, and a Thew bomblet. I'm pretty sure that this week was the most I've gotten in one week that I can remember. Thanks to everyone that helped me.
Monday was pretty uneventful mainly because we are starting to get out of our habit of Sky and work into fully moving into Abyssea. We are now only farming the NMs that people need and that the seals are extremly expensive to buy.
Thursday ShieldsofValor went to go tackle the Ks99s, which I posted on the other night (see mindless rambling on prior post.) Long story short, Black Belt = MINE! After Neo thought it would be funny to kill me, mulitple times trying to a JoF, which we never quite all got there to kill. Oh well, have to try again another night.
Saturday Aristocrats went in to Dynamis-Bubu and had an amazing run. So amazing that SE decided that half way though, to cut us off. Anyway, with about 20 people we took out the megaboss and started kicking ass. 4 drops, almost back to back, got everyone in good spirits. Then Melee Gloves -1 dropped. Woot. Not a huge upgrade, but damn if it didn't make my Mnk happy as hell. Then moving to Effts, we got 2 Mnk capes almost back to back. It pretty much continued like this untill the half way point of the run. Abyss cape dropped, and I was like ZOMG! the AF gods was with us that night.. Allyrose being the sweetheart that she is(Probally felt me starring her down though the moniter) passed the cape, and that completed my great week. Now with my Drk pretty much complete and my Mnk not far behind, I'm looking to finish Pld gear, which may present a problem since I am needing some HNM stuff like Defending ring. But I can pretty much forget that pipe dream.
I guess we all have to have goals no matter how out of reach they seem. After the whole peithaisabitch incident, I had little hope of Aristocrats doing dreamland runs so quickly nor did I imagine that we would have our largest payout in the history of Aristocrats. Alot of that is thanks to Miae, Gooky, and the hard work that the members put in to get them. Congrats to all the AF winners from Dreamlands. Just makes peitha look that much more like a douchebag.. Hope that 15M was worth it. lol

Kung Fu Masta!!!
Well maybe not, but I'm a alot closer on game than I was the night before. That right, after almost 3 years of being 2/3 on BB items, I finally have my Black Belt thanks to ShieldofValor and 2 special people that made that dream come true.
Some of you know that I have been struggling with BB items for so long that I had almost completely lost interest in Mnk. After so many "Hills are Alive" KS99 and countless time I would even try to buy from a HNMls, I pretty much gave up and focused fully on my Drk, which in all senses, became my main DD for FFXI. But Mnk always burned in the back of my mind. When Fahzewn started to inquire about Ks99 again due to the fact that it's been awhile since SoV did them. I've been hesitant because SoVs normall attendance has been a bit low, but I scheduled a run anyway.
The first fight we had to knock some rust off. It seemed no matter what we did to the damn turtle, it would go back in the shell randomly and regen to full health at it's own choosing. We ended up running out of time.... Pissed off and dissapointed, I was ready to go to a different KS battle. But we stayed. I knew this would be our hardest KSNM for the main reason that we had a lack of magic damage power. With only 4 Blm and a Sch, it would be tough. Luckly Neo was able to get Shaan to come help. So with 5 Blm + 1 sch we entered again. We also switched up our strat a bit against the twat... I mean turtle. This time, we really gave it hell. Kicking it's ass in a decent time for the amount of Mages. I had everyone run out and I popped the chest.... then shat myself.. Adamantoise Egg!!!. but that feeling was quickly subdued by the knowledge that I had no right to it.. Then the unexpected happend. An act of kindness(and mercy lol) from Fahzewn and Fayrra. I had accepted the fact that Fahzewn would lot the egg and I would be crossing my fingers for another egg to drop. When Fay/Fah said in linkshell for me to lot the egg, I became speachless, which is pretty hard for me since I never seem to shut up. Fay/Fah made a dream come true last night. Almost a full year since I had given up hope on Black Belt, I finally had the chance to put it on.. Funny thing was the amount of times I died trying to help Neo's JoF run. But that's a story for another day.

Back To The Daily Grind.
Ah back to the normal run of things in FFXI. What could be better? oh yeah, everything lol. Na j/k I'm enjoying the game again for the first time in awhile. Everything seems to be moving along just normal.
ShieldsofValor is growing. Not so much in members, but more in what we are aiming at. With the gear choices in Abyssea, more and more members are leaning towards that event full time. The only problem will be is with the payout system of SoV and if the members want to give up that bit of gil at the end of the month. That will be up for debate. Now as far as the weekly run down.
Monday we went up for a Kirin ass kicking, Zerg style. As expected, he went down like a little bitch(or Neo take your pick lol). Kirin didn't even scratch us before he met his end. You could see the difference in kill speed with lv 80 in place of most of our current DD. We still had more Kirins, so we tried somthing new. Kirin zerg with no 2 hours. So we did everything that we normal do, with exception of 2 hours. Well the fight started normaly, with Kirin going down a little slower, but still a good steady kill rate. Then Disaster(or Carby) either way you want to call it. Carby blows his 2 hour and 80% of our members hit the dirt. Well Kirin was still at around 40% at that time, so the rest of us do our best, but the damage just wasn't there. we finally Wipe to Kirin @ 20% when Suzy popped. For a run with no 2 hours and crap luck with carby, I think we did well. If nothing else, it was fun.
Tuesday Aristocratls was in Dynamis Xarc to hopfully finish up getting some people their AFs that they have been looking for, for a long time. What started off as a slow run, quickly became a great run with 2 Whm hands, and a number of other drops. Funny part is that even with a few big links, we held strong to the point where Shamus was trying to kill us. Then towards the end of the run he did just that. He pulled the Relic staves unexpectedly. First it was panic, then death. Then Shamus loled. . Well that's what we get by pissing off the Taru.
Thursday we finished up Kirin with another zerg. Pretty uneventful other than some really shitty drops. Oh well. The rest of us hit up Abyssea for some Exp later on and that rounded out our night.
That was pretty much all I played that weekend so fast forward to Monday of this week. Dominik had some Kittys to pop, and we like gil so we killed them for him. One thing I noticed is that holy shit these things go down fast. We only had about 13-14 people, so it wasn't even a full alliance and max life span of byakko was around 1-2 mins. Not bad considering his 2 hour. Anyway, Dom finished the night with 3/4 Byakko haidates and we finished the night with a little bit larget wallet. Afterwards we aimed at abyssea again to get more merits/exp
Ah I almost forgot, I got a new toy!. Plaga scythe woot! Now that's a story in it's own and it also serves as my Douchebag of The Day Award.
Dannik and I decided to camp that scythe for Yudaman and myself. So we set out for the Abyssean worm NM. When we got there it looked like someone had just claimed him, but it wasn't damaged and no one was around.. Weird. So when it unclaimed, I jumped on it. then started going through my motions. Then came the /tells. I felt bad, so I invited them into alliance. After everyone got there, the worm went splat quickly. One of the easier NMs that I can remember. After the kill, it dropped! So I was quick to lot, only to be outlotted by the other guy that I had just let join. Damn my conscious! oh well, I'll get them next time... or so I thought. At the next pop there was 3 Blm there killing it,Zigounette,Punishment,and a third(Don't remember the name) . Only problem was that they sucked and after getting hit but the 3rd stonega III and the taru dying, they ran off and it unclaimed @ around 90% hp. So dannik claimed it. and we proceded to kill it. Now we had to face the fact that they linked four other worms and try to dodge Stonega IIIX3+Quake+Stone V. we where doing well and had ot down to 20-30% when I messed up and got pwned by the Stone V(The one I forgot) and splat, down I went. So dannik couldn't kill it with his thf with only a ranged attack, so we had to let it unclaim. During this entire time, we get threats from Zigounette that he is going to kill us(lolInternetztoughguy) and that he is coming to get us. Yeah we got our laughs out of it. Then after I get killed, he kicks it up a notch. I found out somthing new about myself, #1 I bought my character. Yep I sure did, over the past 6-7 years I've paid dearly for this guy. #2 I'm an uber noob since I don't have a maat;s cap. Yeah the punk said that. Oh btw he was nuking in a Maats cap, Errant body and diamon rings... Hardcore, I know. So they kill the last 20% and go to talking shit again. Let me make this clear, the only one talking shit was Zigounette. the one that got killed during the start of the fight Punisher didn't say anything is say or /tells. He was was only a part of the group. Anyway after the 4th camp, I finally got my scythe. I can honestly say that over the Moliones's Sickle, the Plaga kicks ass. My first night of testing it out put me 150K in 2 1/2 hours over the second place DD who was an Ebody War. I bet that made him feel really good about that Ebody now. Yeah I know I look like I just got off of the assembley line, but you have 1 of 2 options. #1 change with the updates and improve yourself, or #2 stick with your old ass gear that used to be pimp and be out damaged by the guy you used to call Gimp(and probally still do.) Then enjoy being midgrade... That only last for so long.
My rant is finally over lol.. On a sad note, We say goodbye permently to Miae and Gooky as they decided to move on with their lives. They tried to right a wrong commeted by Peitha by donating their uber gear to AC and some of the members to improve their play. You two will always be missed, and never forgoten. I wish you both luck in anything you ever do. Take care and hopfully you wont forget the people of FFXI and all the crazy fun we had.

I swear I'm not dead
It's been ages since I've posted. If anyone even still reads this, I apologize for leaving ya'll hanging. Not one to make excuses, I'll catch you up to what has been going on.
First I took a pretty good break from the game(2-3 weeks) and got to enjoy some of my other games that I haven't had a chance to finish. After a few weeks of my break, the "Crazy B!T@^ " Incident happened.(see FFXIAH.Com for details) So I was needed a bit more in game, SoV in the mean time was pretty sick of farming by that time so I decided to make my return.
Then the update. ah the damn update. Abyssea, Walk of echos, massive exp to gain.. I would have rather /wrist than to exp rdm to 80. (I'm still in debate on if I level it further.) So I pretty much stuck to events and figured I'd get exp as I go. Well I got tired of levelsync parties very quickly on pld. So I started looking for other methods. I tried Promy zones, I tried getting into merit burns(lolpldmerit) and then finally Abyssea.
Ah the glory that is Abyssea! When I first started doing Abyssea, someone told me that there was a rumor that you can get around 50k/hour in the zone with a full alliance. Excited, I jumped into the next farming group I could find. Well to say the least, levelsync parties would kick it's ass. I didn't know what was going on and I'm pretty sure neither did anyone else. Sadly, I was let down again. A few days later I figured I would give it one more try. I jumped on the first shout I seen(lolshout parties; ;). Big difference was that this time we knew how to get the exp. This time I went drk and got some major exp. I went from 75-78 in a few hours. We averaged about 30-40K/hour. After that I have been on a mission!
Last weekend I figured I would try my hand in leading an Abyssea farming run. I grabbed Breathem, and who ever else I could in a shout, then headed off to kill some mandies. Fastforward from 8:30Pm on saturday night to 6:00AM Sunday morning(yeah I passed out), I was fully capped on Drk, and Blm with 10 merits... Yeah I lacked sleep but holy hell on the exp! Best of all I wasn't gimped after. I had capped Scythe and Great sword on Drk and I'm only 2 skills away from cap on Blm. Thats what I'm talking about!! I think our average was around 70k/hour. I came back to the group later on to get some more merits, and the same group was still killing at 2:00PM that night. Not quite 24 hours, but damn close.
Later on I caught Dierdren and talked her into getting me into an EX party. After waiting around forever(I'll never get that time back ; ;) We finally get started. I was excited to get my Pld to 80 so you can imagine my dismay when they wanted my Mnk. F_%K!!!!
Oh well, I needed to level it anyway. So I geared up mnk and away we went. That was around 9:30ish. Fast forward to 1Am( My sleep hates me, wife isn't to fond of me either) and I went from 75-80 cap + 2 merits. I found out a few things last night. Number one: Either my mnk isn't horrible or EX DDs aren't THAT great. After parsing the entire time last night, Kakeshi was first, I was second, and the rest of the DDs started falling off as the night went on. Now to explain further, I was third most of the night untill one of the other Sams left, but we were neck and neck the entire night. This was a shock to me, as I expected to be blown out of the water by EX. I consider Mnk to be my secondary DD to my Drk, untill I get Black belt at least, so I was quite hopful after seeing those numbers. Maybe, just maybe I don't suck so bad.
During this time, SoV decided to go into Abyssea with out any knowledge of the zone, and we met "IT". IT is the thing that we all know as a fact in the FFXI world. That fact is that "no matter how strong you think you are, there is always a bunny that can kick your ass."
That being said this is IT:
After we picked up our teeth(and our pride) we left the bunnies alone and went for the birds. That was going well untill their big brother flew up and aggroed. Round 2 SoV 0- Abyssea NMs 2.... So yeah our first adventure wasn't very good, but we all had fun and it was a change from sky.

The Angry side of Dizzmal
So I've been told that I have been overy angery lately,Have I? I'm more aggravated that I remember I was on Hades. Maybe I'll blame the server. I've lost more friends than I would like to count due to them quitting in the past year. Maybe I'll blame them quitting, or my lack of ability to be able to quit. More people seem to piss me off with their petty BS or their trying to MPK the good members of SoV.
I'm not sure if my anger is starting to affect the people in SoV yet or not, But we did have one of the crappy runs than I can remember. It wasn't a wipe, but it was damn close to it on both Kirin runs. Bad thing was, I can't put my finger on it why it went so bad. I'll chalk it up to maybe just one of those days. Exellence being there during our shitty ass run didn't help either. I'm sure that made a certain someone just feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Either way, we got it done, and got on with our lives. Tonight we will have a rematch with Kirin Zerg style to make me feel better about the whole thing.
Tuesday Aristocrats had Dynamis Xarc, and I must say, we didn't start off with the way we wanted to, but we sure as hell finished strong. Caldar became out new TH4 Thf, with our latest set of AAs that dropped. That was my first run as Blm in Xarc.Ah I'm not sure which I die more on, Blm or Drk in that zone. Meh still a good run none-the-less.
I covered SoV's thursday run above so I'll move straight on to Friday, where I thought I would be cool as hell and dualbox me and OC during some ISNMs. Well that didn't work out well. Although we cleared and people got drops, there was some death involved. Note to self, learn more about Brd. In the end I got a Khroma ore, so I was happy panda.
Saturday I pretty much just skilled up and was a tad lazy. I ran into my old friends Theshadow and Ladymidnight, the leaders of Across and the people that made me who I am today. I was still a lowley War making way though the start of this game. They let me into their old LS and I pretty much wouldn't leave even after they started Across. Their trio partner, GodofDeath, told them that I was so loyal that I'd stay in that shell even if no one else was on. Sure enough the next time he logged on, I was chillin in there all by my lonesome. That started my membership of Across. From there I have grown and moved on, but Across will always be my home. Even though Shadow and lady try to kill me every chance they get. Lol, the memories I've had.
Aristocrats had a great run in San'doria as we cleared almost the entire zone of mobs. Good start for the month on payouts.^^
Sunday I joined NBA with some Tinnin action. I was happy because it was the first time I got to tank, well other than when I would nuke and it would turn to me and make me go splat.The first run, Neo and I had no problems till the end when the fucker cursed me then hit me right after. Result = splat. Oh well, it was dead shortley after. The second run was alot more death on my part. It seems like every time I switched over to Brd(I was dualwielding OC for elegy.) It seemed like I got pwned. Oh well, no biggy. On the third run I wasn't paying attention on Brd as I did the second round, so I didn't have any deaths. For the most part all the fights went smooth. I had a good time, that's all that matters.
I don't know, am I that angry? I wonder if after 6-7 years of playing this game, it might finally be time for me to take a long term break. It's hard to say at this point. The main reason I don't think it's a possiblity is because a lot of people depend on me. I think every time I don't show up, I disappoint someone and I'm not sure if I'm just OCD about it or somthing, but I can't stand that. Oh well, I've played this long with out taking a break, I'm sure I'll work though it sooner or later.
I'm not sure if my anger is starting to affect the people in SoV yet or not, But we did have one of the crappy runs than I can remember. It wasn't a wipe, but it was damn close to it on both Kirin runs. Bad thing was, I can't put my finger on it why it went so bad. I'll chalk it up to maybe just one of those days. Exellence being there during our shitty ass run didn't help either. I'm sure that made a certain someone just feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Either way, we got it done, and got on with our lives. Tonight we will have a rematch with Kirin Zerg style to make me feel better about the whole thing.
Tuesday Aristocrats had Dynamis Xarc, and I must say, we didn't start off with the way we wanted to, but we sure as hell finished strong. Caldar became out new TH4 Thf, with our latest set of AAs that dropped. That was my first run as Blm in Xarc.Ah I'm not sure which I die more on, Blm or Drk in that zone. Meh still a good run none-the-less.
I covered SoV's thursday run above so I'll move straight on to Friday, where I thought I would be cool as hell and dualbox me and OC during some ISNMs. Well that didn't work out well. Although we cleared and people got drops, there was some death involved. Note to self, learn more about Brd. In the end I got a Khroma ore, so I was happy panda.

Picture overload
I've been looking at the past posts and I have noticed somthing. I went picture crazy.I thing I go to the point to where I have more screenshot pictures than laughable content. I apologize for that. Now the run down of the week.
Pretty much the rest of the week I had baseball untill Saturday. The coach finally gave my son a game ball after he asked me if he had already gotten one, he didn't. From what the coaches wife said, she wrote him down for one at the begining of the season when she was supposed to write another kid for it. What that means is that I get increasingly pissed off every game that he doesn't get one. No matter how much you try to not be "That Dad", you end up becoming one once you see your kid passed over. Even more so, when you know he is one of the better kids on the field. Meh, I guess he got one and that's all that matter.
I didn't really log on the game untill Saturday when Nega and I did Limbus. Well let me correct that, Nega died with no RR on the first floor and I did limbus. I soloed 5 ghost and the mega boss before I ran out of time. Damn portal never did pop for me. Just wasn't a good night for limbus I guess.
Sunday I got a nice manaburn party with Neojuggernaut and company. Man I love Xarc parties as blm. Just lazy ass exp. I finished my thunder potency merits and got closer to finishing my ice potency merits.
Monday SoV was back in sky killing gods. With the loss of one of our whms, we had to convert Mitts to a WHM untill mrsbey comes back. It was one of the better runs we have had in awhile. The only death came as neo got his ass owned by Seriyu's Hundred fist. But Tidis showed him how to tank the beast.
After sky, Neo, Tidis, and I did some ISNM. I thought I would be bright and duelbox Dizzmal and OC for that. Well that wasn't a great idea, but it did work. After killing everyone 1 time and killing half of them another time, in the end we got 2 Khroma ores. Tidis and OC was the lucky winners of those.
Now on a sad note. ShieldofValor has had some of it's prized members take flight in the past week. Some due to change of RL location and some that just needed to spread their wings. Gooky and Miae, I would like to thank you both for everything you have done for SoV and myself personally. ShieldsofValor wouldn't be where it is today with out the both of you. You will be missed dearly by everyone and even more so by me. Sylnome, I have known you since before you even had a thought of what end game was. You have grown to be one of the best players in the game. I hope you excel in anything that you want to, which you will because your a great player. In the end, we all grow and life changes from time to time. We just have to roll with the punches.

New Beginnings
Well I guess it's about time for me to make a post since it's been almost two weeks since my last one.To tell ya'll the truth, I can barly see to even post. After being in the damn pool most of yesterday, I find myself pretty much blind today.... Moving on.
Monday May, 20th ShieldsofValor headed up to Sky for some god killing. I wanted to be greedy with Suzaku by waiting till I got one more hit so I could get an Atonment off for better hate managment and well Suzy made me pay for it with a nice Firaga + Flare to the face. Which in turn, resulted into a few more deaths. (opps) The rest of the night went well, and we finished up with Byakko. Lios got her kitty pants for her War that was still lv 68, but at last she has some incentive to level it now.
Wednesday, Nega, OC, and I went on a NW limbus run. We had a few hiccups but still managed to get to the final floor. We killed the three mini asshats, but ran out of time with the big guy. Still was a good run with coins.
Thursday Sov was back in sky, being a pain in Kirin's ass. We did a Zerg first, and then went to kite the second. First fight, fat ass went down in a little under 1 min. Second time around, we took him down in 22 mins with a kite method. Neo's straight tanking method is much quicker than the old style. although it can cause a few deaths, it gets the job done.
Saturday, Aristocrats hit up Dynamis-Jueno again. While I had a few deaths, the run went pretty smooth. My Blm is becoming more endgame ready as time goes on. I was able to get my Yigit feet after Dynamis^^. Just really need/want one more piece to make me really happy!
I went to catch some Besieged later on sunday and I found out that I am, in fact, an ass hole. Note to anyone that gets charmed... DON'T let me know or this is what normally happens.
Monday ShieldsofValor had a KS99 day. No matter how smooth the runs go, there is always one run that we get pwned. I'll never understand it, but it happens. This time it was Koroki's orb... Sorry bud. For the new people, This is what happens when Spike Flair goes off. SPLAT!... But other than that, we had a good run.

After a bit of farming Thursday, I decided to join Esacflowne and Lios in for some late night exp party. It was a damn good party, even though Lios sucked like hell(j/k don't hurt me) lol
I have searched high and low for a good (cheap) priced Novio Earring, and I finally found one. With a bit of help, I was able to get the last piece that I can obtain with out doing Salavage or HNM for my Blm. Thanks everyone involved, including Twist, you got the wheels started motion for me to be able to get it. Also a person that I will leave unnamed so they don't get harrased. Thank you, You know who you are.
On saturday I joined NzBzAz on some ZNMs. Well pretty much only 1 ZNM. a Lamia that likes to charm people and kick their asses. I got upclose and personal with her lol.
When you get to close, bad things happen. In this case, I got charmed and pwned the shit out of the nearst whm. I laughed a bit to hard when she died. I love the way taru's sound when they bite the dust.
I went to Dynamis-Windy later on that night. With the offical first run of Aristocrats new leader, Peitha. Congrats for the best Dynamis run I have been to in a long time. On a more funny note, Gooky went SPLAT!
While I had a full few weeks, I haven't posted for the fact that I've been pretty pissed off for the last few days. It's just amazing what people will do just to get a few extra pixels. Oh well, I guess everyone has to find some sort of meaning in life.. Sad it takes running over your old friends in order to get ahead.

Getting The Blood Pumping
I have had one hell of a week. I got to do some things that really gave me a challenge(other than putting up with Tidis.) With Shaan's ZNM shell doing higher tier ZNMs I'm finally getting a chance to get some HNM tanking which is freaking awesome. Here is the run down of my events.
Thursday ShieldsofValor had to farm again to make up for the shitty run we had Monday. The run started off great and kept that pace the entire night. One of the only nights that we were lucky enough to get two Despots in one run. Also we got all Sky NMs and I didn't even manage to die. SE must finally be getting bored of killing me.( I can only wish.) I went with Neojuggernaut to kick Odin's ass after sky. I now has a shinny new neck piece for Blm/Rdm/Drk ^^. Btw Odin is a bitch lol. He went down faster than Sylnome on a Moose! (thats pretty damn fast.)
Friday, Dierdren, Alfsta and I hit up NW limbus again. SE was having fun with us by not giving us the damn portal on the first few floors. It took us till the 5th damn ghost on the first floor ><. Anyway we got out with no deaths and cleared with plenty of time left. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it ^^
Satursday, zNzBzAz had some trolls to kill.
They killed back. ; ;
Aristocrats had Dynamis-Beuc. Dierdren wanted to start practicing killing relic NMs to start being able to sell for later on. The run started off about like most runs do. (I died). A few mobs later, I died again. Then about 10 mins later, Splat!.... Yep that was the the day SE went into over time with killing my ass. At least a good note was that every time I died, more AF dropped. A ton of AF dropped if that tells you anything. Well we get to the fomor NMs. The first one was a pussy with the only deaths was me(big suprise) and a few others from the minis that came back.
That kind of hurt.
The second one, however, (Pld/Rdm/asshat) kicked our ass. Well it wasn't that he kicked our ass, but he lived long enough for his minions to kick our ass. It's amazing how long 30 secs of no melee damage seems. Well still we got the relic item for the bow and alfsta got it.
I was bored after that and decided to take a Blm DM shout. I never done it like that before so I figured, what the hell, and figured I'd get some knowledge that I didn't have before.
That was the fastest DM fight I have ever seen. Dead in 4 mins flat and most of that was prep time.
Dannick, Alfsta, and I tried to do some Fields of Valor augment fights. I wanted to be ballsy and try augmenting my Genie Weksit. Things started off well with this:

So this is what I got:

Well I went to start on my Trial weapon. I figured I'd get the one with +12 acc and +4 Dex with 97 Damage. After mapping out my first trial, I set out for The Boyahda Tree. On the way there, a member from EX ran by and I caught a bit of ADD and followed him to The Dragons Aery. What I found when I got there was :
Pretty much a waste of time. But I got to see how much bitching goes on at HNM site. I would love some of the gear, but I don't think it's worth the bitching I seen at that camp.
Sunday zNzBzAz took on Sarameya which is the force pop version of Cerberus. Yep I'm on Cerberus killing Cerberus.. (That seemed a whole lot funnier in my head than on this blog.) This fight gave me a rush. He resists all kinds of slow and spam nukes the shit out of people. Fun. The start of the fight was a tad painful but we recovered to kick it's ass in the long run. Btw I love my fire resist set. I still need other gear to improve it, but damn it helps out a ton on stuff like this.

After ZNM, Allyrose and I hit up some Besieged. I found some comic relief for ya'll:

During the attack Mitts joined the massive death that SE was bestowing on me. I seen a perfect chance at some revenge on Ally.
Ha! death to the frog. Didn't help that I was weakened and I'm a Drk....
But I wasn't able to kill her before she unclaimed. So The the frog thought it would be funny to charm me.. (oh shi) and Ally smiled as she took out her polearm.
I got to Mitts before the twit got me at least. . .

I'm starting to think I should have should have named this post "The worlds longest Blog!." As ya'll can see, I had a very full week. I would really love to do some HNM to get a chance to tank some of that hard stuff but I just couldn't put up with the bitching and crying that goes along with it. That being said, I'm looking for a good Einherjar Linkshell or a linkshell that does it in their schedule that could use someone that is super talented in the ways of death. They can check my profile on FFXI or talk to me in game. I don't mind posting an application.

A Better Week
Well this week is starting off to not be so bad, if you don't count the wife's speeding ticket. Meh I'll get the taken care of.(/em turns mobster, cracks knuckles.) I haven't done anything stupid yet(key word: yet). My truck is still in one piece and no dead cats have come into the shop. I'm ahead of the game, for now.
Thursday ShieldsofValor had some Kirin to kill. With Orangecrush's return and the new memberships of Mrsbey and Fahzewn, we had some learning/relearning to do lol. I was super nice and made OC chase the kite party around. I find it extremely funny to watch a taru run around like a chicken with their head cut off chasing a fat ass galka. Miae and Gooky joined later, so I had the enjoyment of two Taru's running around lol. We kicked Kirin's ass twice and called it a night. Pretty shit drops for the most part, but Caldar got D-body and Sylnome got Kirin's Osode. Dier, Ally and I went for ENM after Kirin, got some decent drops(Mantle and some other BS.) We pretty much called it a night after that.
Saturday I was able to sneak on here and there for Dynamis. Things were going ok till Tidis(lolbrit) wanted to MPK the entire linkshell by telling Shamus that he had a clean pull(he didn't). So Shamus pulled them to the Mega Boss camp. Death followed quickly. The linkshell faught vallaintly(I ran) but we all bit the dust (while I was laughing my ass off.) We finished up and got our payouts (woot, more gilz!)
Sunday I really didn't play much with the exception of Tinnin with zNzBzAz(I have no clue what this name is supposed to mean. I'm pretty sure Shaan was on crack when he came up with it.) The fight went well( meaning I only died one time.) and we were able to take down another big ass dragon.
Monday ShieldofValor was in sky again. Everyone has good days and bad days, this was our turn for the bad one. After camping Despot for an hour with no spawn we went to BB. We got ready to pop and realized that our Thf was AFK /facepalm. At least we didn't pop it before we realized it. After BB we wasted the remaining time at Uii, Nexus, and Water, hoping for some good luck. While still claimed around 90% of the mobs at Uii, it was Dierdren's group (Damn TH4) that came up with the two Diorites that we got. The rest of the Blm party and I killed the shit out of Uii and went about our night. At least we did finish on a good note.
After the ENM that dropped shit, Nega,Craken,Dierdren, and I hit up NW. We kicked ass and took names. The only hiccup was when Craken decided to help SE with their "Kill Dizzmal" button and gave me more of an incentive to cap my EXP.(Ass hole mpked me. At least Dier and Nega got a good laugh.) We cleared the zone with over 10 mins left. ^^ not bad for 2 and 1/2 Blm(lolnega) and a Rdm.
So all and all a pretty decent week. The only really bad news was that Twist/Atonmentday decided to go back to school, so he left us. ; ; He donated a good portion of his Blm gear to me to pretty much finish it. My new goal is to get a Novio to dedicate to him. Twist we will always miss you. I hope you enjoy life and do everything that you set your sights on. Thanks for the good times and all the deaths( I know some of those were on purpose.)
Thursday ShieldsofValor had some Kirin to kill. With Orangecrush's return and the new memberships of Mrsbey and Fahzewn, we had some learning/relearning to do lol. I was super nice and made OC chase the kite party around. I find it extremely funny to watch a taru run around like a chicken with their head cut off chasing a fat ass galka. Miae and Gooky joined later, so I had the enjoyment of two Taru's running around lol. We kicked Kirin's ass twice and called it a night. Pretty shit drops for the most part, but Caldar got D-body and Sylnome got Kirin's Osode. Dier, Ally and I went for ENM after Kirin, got some decent drops(Mantle and some other BS.) We pretty much called it a night after that.
Saturday I was able to sneak on here and there for Dynamis. Things were going ok till Tidis(lolbrit) wanted to MPK the entire linkshell by telling Shamus that he had a clean pull(he didn't). So Shamus pulled them to the Mega Boss camp. Death followed quickly. The linkshell faught vallaintly(I ran) but we all bit the dust (while I was laughing my ass off.) We finished up and got our payouts (woot, more gilz!)

When Dumb Attacks.
I've had a bad week. Not so much on FFXI but more at work. Yesterday topped off the week(I really hope it doesn't get worse.) Between dead cats(No I didn't kill it.) someone getting hurt at work(Damn Workmans Comp) and my dumb ass move yesterday, I just wanna go emo and crawl into a hole.
I'll get into that stuff a bit later. Now the rundown! Monday we faced off Ouryu again. Last time the bastard got lucky with poor attendence and a lack of knowledge of the fight and we ran out of time with about about 10% left. Tonight, however was a different story. We kicked it's ass with around 10 mins left. Not bad for only our second try. Got the Monarch orb and next up, Plan for Bv2 fight ^^.
Wednesday I jumped on to help out some of our new members with some UFO killing. Then I went to help Dier with some jack ass of an assault mission. Wtf SE Lebros supplies sucks ass. After getting our asses kick the first time, we came up with a different game plan and got though pretty easily.
Afterwards I went with Neojuggernaut and Co. to go kill Odin. That bastard is the reason I lost my ass with my Elemental Torque... (fucker) Anyway we go with Drk(me),Mnk(Neo)Sam,Drg,Brd, and Rdm. That thing hit the dust so fast that I had flashbacks for Top getting me killed again.
Now the story behind the title. So I have had one hell of a week. Monday some douchebag with a BMW(Big Metal Waste) ( I really don't like BMW, or any other high end car that people that can't afford to service them buys.) with a dead cat stuck under the damn motor. I'll save ya'll the gory details, but just remember this. An animal that has been dead for 4-5 days on top of a hot motor, stinks. REALLY BAD!! Anyway, Day number two (Tuesday) I had one of my co workers have a 900lb machine fall on his ass. So now I'm short handed(We still don't know how it fell.)
Then yesterday, the mass amount of fail that I had was off the charts. So everyone at work was told that we needed to move our trucks. One of the service truck drives was about to work on a big ass earth mover tire. So I get the bright idea (was a bright idea for a redneck) and climb one of the mounts of dirt with my 4x4. Now that was pretty easy to to but still. After about 20 mins(Enough time for the truck to sink into the soft dirt pile.) I decided to back it off the hill. At that time I realized that I am a dumb ass. I just wanted to shar my phail with ya'll so you could get a good laugh.

The Belly of The Beast!
That is where my Blm exp is going latley. I always laughed at the idea of a 44K buffer untill Blm. Normally I like to keep a 10K buffer then merit as much as I can. Pld I died a good bit due to my "better the Pld dead than everyone else" mentallity. So I just KNEW that Pld would probally die more than any other job. I was wrong. As mnk I found out that other Plds didn't have the same honorable mentallity as I did. So Mnk wasted some exp(Mainly due to my stupidity. see below)
With the Dynamic Quad of Toprob,Tetsuiga, Swordman, and myself, I found myself randomly killing the group. Was fun though.
Then I leveled Rdm, I WISH I could lose exp on that thing. You know only enough to make it delevel it to 37(well 49 after the level cap increase.) Rdm in party or any event that make me refresh whore is my bane. Now solo/Duo/Trio/ you get the damn idea, Rdm is great. I love the job then, other than that I'd rather beat my head on the wall.
After Rdm I leveled Drk. Dear God, there can be no way in hell I could lose more exp than on Drk. Which most the time is pretty funny(see 22 deaths in windy) Right now it is my favorite DD job. I can inflict massive damage then try to stay alive till one of two things happen #1 stay alive till the mob is dead or #2 get my ass pwned(happens more) At this point and time I figured nothing could compare to the massive amouts of exp loss.
Then came Blm, Wtf SE really? How the hell can you lose 20K exp in one weekened? Ya I did that, multiple times. At first I figured that I was being a noob and over nuking(I was at times). Then I got to looking and found out that if I'm the only one not resisting out of 6 other Blms, that gets me killed. That happened a crap ton on Tinnin and a damn vampire looking thing. Note to self .. needs more exp parties ><

The return of Orangecrush!! That's right my OC is back! Now I'm not sure if many of you remember her, but she is one of the nicest people in the world(besides me)(don't laugh to hard). After over a year and a half without contact I got a text message wondering if I was Dizzmal.(a text on my personal phone asking if I was dizzmal, that might be bad ; ;) Then when it said it was OC, I was like HOLY SHIT(true words.) She logged on later and I got to take some pics.
I hung out with OC for awhile before Dynamis. Her first event back on the game after a year and a half of no play was merit with Me(drk)Dom(Drg)Ally(Drg)Alf(Sam)and Dier as Brd. Poor thing. She did well with very few deaths. We went to Dynamis-Valkrum afterwards to get payback on the last run.

I skipped The normal run down of the week so here it goes. Thursday SoV took it's first try at Ouryu Cometh. Normally SoV has great attendance but for that night, I guess people said "Ah fuck it" and decided not to show up or at least show up late. Anyway We finally get started with 16 people. The fight started a bit rough but smoothed out though out the fight till around 80% when our two best Blms had to go(I hope the kids are feeling better) from then out we just kind of ran out of gas. We did very good for our first run and only 14 people(2-3 of those were dead most the time as well). So tonight will be our rematch, Payback is a bitch Ouryu!

Sword and I were bored Sunday and decided to take it to Limbus and Duo NW. For the people that follow this blog, they know that I have tried this and has started to get better at it over time. Tonights run was a major victory for me. Sword and I cleared! Woot, after a pretty rough start we got in gear and got the job done. I was very proud of the two of us. Next up Kill all mega bosses.(We skipped them all but the first and last.

The MegaBoss on the final floor wanted to be a prick with a nicely timed thunderspark + Metor that killed both me and sword. I still believe that someone at SE wanted to kill me.

On the end note I want to bring up my DoucheBag of the week. This one goes to a duo named Homebent and Jitu.Congratz you both are douchebags!! Here is why: We start a manaburn party and invite Homebent to join us. Well after the third resist in a row(Sword and I were doing 500-750 and this douche was doing 64s, consistantly) I start looking at this guy. He is nuking in full HMP set. After two warnings I finally kick him and get Thejew(yes I laugh every time I see that name) Well he gets pissed and goes get his gimped ass friend and they start camping on us and laughing when they get a claim. I'm sorry I would not be bragging that I'm hurting exp when I couldn't break 1K on a tier IV nuke on a damn pet! But they did and finished the night with Sword and I showing them what a Blm should be.

Life Lessons The Hard Way.
Anyone else notice the lack of writers block I have had? I have been blogging my ass off. Damn you Cerberus, your giving me too much to blog about. Between the new events I'm doing and the growing amounts of people pissin me off, I've had enough to burn the keys off the work pc. Oh well at least there is enough comic relief for everyone.
Crafting... How I hate you. Most people that have known me for awhile know that I've been a higher level Bonecrafter. After 80 I have found a lack in wanting to really skill up from there. That and I'm too broke to afford crafting. I'm currently at 81.9 BC and holding steady... I tried to skill up the other day and much to my dismay, I broke the first 3 synths ... 3 skill levels away from my level and I broke 3 straight in a row. That wouldn't normally bother me(lying) but now that when I skill up and break I lose 9-13K if it is a crit break. After sinking around 100K and getting only .1 skill up I decided to call it a night.. Round 1 SE 1 Dizzmal 0...
Even though this is a FFXI blog, it includes some of my RL as well as other games. Other than FFXI, I play a slew of other games including but not limited to, FFXIII, TF2,FFVII( I can't get enough of this game) AoEIII, CoD, and Dragon Age. My new current addiction is TribalWars, A free MMO that is like Age of Empires that comes down to many players all building their village and competing for world dominence. I find it funny when I attack someone and get an email the next day that states "Your an Ass hole" and "Fuck You!!!!!!" This brings a smile to my face. It hurt my feeling so much that I sent 5 more attacks to fully kill his entire army. Dizzmal 1, Douchebag -300 troops.
Ah the joys of the Douche Hat. Oh well, thats what he gets for sending scouts to me.
After Seth's baseball game I came home to catch the second half of Dynamis Sandy with Aristocrats. My first chance to try out my new Homam legs. Since I was so late I couldn't really test what I could do during a full run, but I pulled out 75K damage in about an hour an a half. Not to bad I wouldn't think According to my parse I was 12K above Allyrose(The highest DD) with her pet doing around 7K. That was just my parse, keep in mind that I was late so mine isn't the full run results. But it's a good way for me to judge how I will do later.
Dier,Ally and I went to do ENM after Dynamis. We ported out lazy asses up and did the boring run to the BC. We have done this same ENM for a long ass time, but never had this kind of problems. We go in and I realize that I'm a dumb ass as I found out I was Drk/Blm(/facepalm) So the first thing that happened was I go my ass killed. Great start if I don't say so myself. (read: Screw you SE) So I get up and try to help Ally and Dier, but Dier somehow pulled hate because she had to start cure bombing Ally. I pull hate off of Dier to keep her from going splat, and get myself killed again. Luckly Dier and Ally lived, but I was 0-2 against SE tonight. We rest full up and go back to fighting. We finish the BC with out much of a hitch and open the chest. Hagun! and some other bs. I was happy about the nice drop, but it would have been nicer if people haven't undercut it to death. since the merge it has dropped to half it's normal price. ; ; Still 500k/each isn't bad
Dier and I hit up "Brothers" ENM afterwards. I hate the climb. After a good hour to run up the mountian twice, we finally get to the BC. By this time though we are both tired and really shouldn't be doing anything that requires any thought. The short of it includes SE mashing the "Kill the shit out of Dizzmal" button several times in under 5 minutes. We went in, Dier got dropped first thing, I nuked the small one down to about 40% before the other one woke up. They then teamed up and kicked my ass. I died in the circle(Yep I'm a douche) and the run was over. Nice waste of an hour or so. It was way past my bed time, so I feel asleep cussin out SE.

Great Start!
What a great start to the week! Probally one of the best I can remember. Lets see, got my ASA legs and a pretty nice earring Sunday, had a very good duo run with Twist, and most of all, Homam Legs!! Things are looking up!
ShieldsofValor took on gods in Sky yesterday. We mixed a few people around to give them some new looks for Gods. When we got up to Suzaku, OnWingsofDragons were ready to kill it. We sat though a pretty hectic fight. Once it 2 houred, people started dropping like flies. We pretty much stayed out of the way to let it run it's course. One good thing about Wings is that they are HUGE! I swear they have 25-30+ people at gods. I really wouldn't know with that many people. If SoV had more than 20 at one time, it's time to shut off apps. Nothing in sky requires more than 18 people and even that is pushing it. The only reason SoV has more than that is from inactives returning to the game or stuff like that.
Anyway back on track, Wings finally killed Suzy and moved on. My goal was to let wings kill theirs so we could just be missing each other. We had 3 pop sets of each god, so I figured we shouldnt be meeting each other since they had less pops. It wasn't really a great night for normal drops, but gil drops rained from the sky! I swear it was one of the best gil runs I can remember. We continued killing gods with out much of a hitch, If you don't count Neo getting his ass handed to him a good bit of the night. But that wasn't really his fault. Galka from birth is a disease kinda like retardation, just with more hair. We got done with the run and ended on a high note with Carinde finally getting Byakko Haidates! Now anyone reading this, we are able to sell the hell out of kitty pants once again. After sky Twist and I decided to try out NW limbus as a Duo again. As some of you may remember, our first try at this zone ended up with getting our asses handed to us with out even killing a damn mob. The ghost was sitting their flipping us off, laughing all the way back to it's spawn spot. Long story short, we were two pissed off Blms. This time however, we had our ducks in a row. After several runs stalking Gooky and Miae, I picked up enough information to be able to do the zone with out them holding my hand. First floor was a little tough but we got though it with out any deaths. The second floor was very easy, but Twist decided he didn't like me too much and got me pwned. That didn't slow us down too much. But on the way to the portal I aggroed and found out that those damn buffalo are fast as hell! We ate dirt and started running low on time. This time we both had RR so we got up and ported up. Third floor went with out a hitch with the exception of me forgetting a good bit of the TEs. Yep I'm that dumb ass. Anyway we did what we had to do then ported up. Fourth floor was really easy, we got done with the floor and got all the TEs with a little over 15 mins left when we ported up. Last floor on only the second time we tried is quite impressive for any two people. But the fact that we were only 75 Blms for around 2 months and we were able to pull this off is on a whole new level.
We killed 3 Behemoths and had around 3 mins left after resting, we called it done. We missed a few coin chances, but still finished with 30 coins and some reassurance that we can do this.If I would have gotten all the TEs we would have had plenty of time to clear the zone. Next time will be even better!
During the NW run I also waiting on Arcanum to kill Omega. Dierdren was nice enough to work me into the buying list for Homam legs so all though NW I was thinking/praying for them to drop. During mid run(Sorry twist Homam > Your life) I had to drop party because they dropped!! Finally Homam, the missing link to my Pld(and Drk) mostly Pld though was in my reach! Dier has become my new humping stick for this. She knows how many times I got screwed out of it over the past 3-4 years. I am indebt to her for this act of kindness.
ShieldsofValor took on gods in Sky yesterday. We mixed a few people around to give them some new looks for Gods. When we got up to Suzaku, OnWingsofDragons were ready to kill it. We sat though a pretty hectic fight. Once it 2 houred, people started dropping like flies. We pretty much stayed out of the way to let it run it's course. One good thing about Wings is that they are HUGE! I swear they have 25-30+ people at gods. I really wouldn't know with that many people. If SoV had more than 20 at one time, it's time to shut off apps. Nothing in sky requires more than 18 people and even that is pushing it. The only reason SoV has more than that is from inactives returning to the game or stuff like that.
Anyway back on track, Wings finally killed Suzy and moved on. My goal was to let wings kill theirs so we could just be missing each other. We had 3 pop sets of each god, so I figured we shouldnt be meeting each other since they had less pops. It wasn't really a great night for normal drops, but gil drops rained from the sky! I swear it was one of the best gil runs I can remember. We continued killing gods with out much of a hitch, If you don't count Neo getting his ass handed to him a good bit of the night. But that wasn't really his fault. Galka from birth is a disease kinda like retardation, just with more hair. We got done with the run and ended on a high note with Carinde finally getting Byakko Haidates! Now anyone reading this, we are able to sell the hell out of kitty pants once again. New Adventures
For the most part my PDHS is over with. I'm back to my normal redneck hick ass. I got to do a number of new things this week. Some new events that really was a nice change of pace.
Starting the week off with a great farming run Monday. We seriously dominated the other linkshells farming at the same time of us. I blogged a little bit about the run the other day when I was ranting about a linkshell getting pissed and trying to MPK us. We got every NM in sky including Diorite and Water. Got to show those bastards whos boss.
Wednesday I stalked Miae and Gooky while they showed me the ropes to some more ENMs and another run of NW. Like normal we raped NW and both ENMs(Miae soloed 1 and Gooky and I killed the other.) Not great drops, but we got another Cloud Evoker. I'm starting to lose count on how many we have ><
Thursday I had baseball practice with Seth so I missed the farming run with SoV. I wasn't needed anyway as they had a repeat of Mondays farming run. After sky I decided that I wanted to try "Splitting Heirs" We looked for about 1-2 hours before we got bored and went with 5 people. That was a mistake. Esca,Tidis,Neojuggernuts, Alfsta, and I went in ready for battle. Boy did we get one too lol. To be honest, we did very well for only 5 people. With only 2 DDs we couldn't quite keep the adds dead long enough. But we got it down to around 45% before they cleaned our clock. Note to self: Bring at least 6 people to somthing that hard.
Friday the wife was sleeping, so I took advantage of a free gaming night. First thing I did was get a group together for ISNM. Koroki,Dierdren,Neo,Tidis,Peitha and I went to go make some puks for splat. Very easy runs but Tidis was the only lucky fucker to get a khroma ore( see: Bastard). We agreed to make a night out of BC fights. We went to go do ANNM in Batilla Downs [s]. I swear I lost brain cells waiting on Neo and Pietha to get ready. Neo had good excuse, he needed more Allied Notes before he could go. Since he was the Pld, he was a tad important. Peitha, on the other hand, took a nap or somthing. Either way, we finally got everyone together( After I started beating my head ont he desk.) and started the fight against pissed off tigers. I must say that was one of the smoothest ANNM fights I have been in. No one died, I think Dier got close once, but SE was being nice tonight and they left the "Kill Group" button alone. When we got done with that Peitha and Koroki left the group and Alfsta and Allyrose joined. We went to have a rematch with the Orcish bastard that kicked my ass the other night. After waiting for a bit, we finally made our way to the BC. We were met with a ton of people. Apperently, in SE infinite wisdom, they didn't make "Splitting Heirs" an instance fight. So what that means is 30+ people spaming the damn door in hopes to beat the other groups. Alfsta got lucky and we got to go in after about 3 minutes. This time around we had 6 people and we knew what to expect. Neo was Pld/Dnc for this fight (I thought it would be a good idea, or at least some comic relief to watch him go splat.) Ally, Alf , and I was DD's with Dier as Whm and Tidis as Rdm. Fight went very smooth, Neo used his 2 hour just to hold hate and Dier did it just to keep us alive at the end. All in all it was a pretty smooth fight. We got Witch Sash to drop, which Tidis out lotted everyone one(see: Bastard again!) Great night for the group, and even a better one for Tidis(Bastard).
Sunday afternoon the wife was taking a nap (anyone else noticing a pattern here?) so I jumped on for a quick ISNM. Fights were easy like normal, but SE still shat on me when it came to drops. So I sat around bored for bit looking for somthing to do. Neo found it for me quickly. He was popping Tinnin, a Hydra want to be. I've never faught Hydra or Tinnin, so I didn't know what to expect. They were set on Plds and DDs, so Neo told me to come Blm(woot!) Right before the fight I went to get my ASA legs and a earring that I had gotten for a key item during the storyline. I put Movement speed +8% and -4% damage taken for Blm legs. The earring I got had MAB +1 and MACC +1 with some spell interruption rate down on it. Looks like I found a replacement for Abyssal untill I get a novio some time in the future(read: never) Anyway, back to Tinnin. I found out two things. Number one, my Blm isn't as gimp as I think it is. It's still gimp, just not as gimp as others. And number Two, Tinnin is a resistant little ass hat. My normal nukes were hitting in the 900+ range when other Blms were hitting 200-400 range. I tried to see how hard I could hit, so I Elemental Seal + Freeze II(see: bad idea) I pulled hate after a 1550+ Freeze II. Shortly after, I ate the dirt. I'm sure someone at SE got a good laugh out of that. I got a raise and went right back to nuking. More like nuke, have 0 mp, rest, nuke, no mp, rest.... Now I know how a Galka Pld feels, Cure IV> no mp, wait for refresh to give mp, Cure IV, no mp.. lol. That sucks. Anyway Tinnin went down quickly and We were told to free lot the Eni head. It sucks, but I lotted anyway. Freelot = Dizz lot no matter how shitty it is. I'll be damned if I didn't win it. -1 Inv. Maybe I'll use on my thf later. Second Tinnin went down just as fast, with out me getting my ass handed to me. I got a Hydra Scale, and danced a little jig. 120K ^^. Damn I should help out more often! All in all was a good day till the wife woke up and went RAWR!! then I went to go play ball with her and Seth.

PDHS
PostDoucheHatSyndrome that is what I'm suffering from atm. It's the time after being a douche where you either A: Feel bad for being a douche or B: regret for being a douche in the first place.. or C: pleased as hell with yourself for being a douche.
I'm a good mix of all three at the moment. Normally, after strapping on the Douche Hat, I feel bad for lowering my standards and working on gaining the title of "DoucheBag". I'm not quite there(I think..) but if things keep it up on Cerberus, I may end up becoming "King Douche" which I must take from Neojuggernaut(j/k). No I'm fairly sure that "King Douche" goes to a certain linkshell leader named Inglorion that enjoys shouting stupid shit in whitegate just to get things started. For some reason this guy like to spam /check me. Normally I don't mind being checked, but when it's 10 times in a damn row, that pisses me off.
Normally the last stage of PDHS is sadness. I'm not really sad about the douche hat part as much as I miss my friend, Toprob, My brother in arms. His British humor is on a level all by itself. We used to do everything together. When I finally beat ASA, I was happy but, at the same time, I was sad that Top wasn't there to enjoy it with me. Oh well maybe one day he will be back to terrorize Vana'diel with me again. That way we both can put on our Douche Hats on and really give people hell!

Anger
For some reason since the move to Cerberus, I have constantly been in a semi-bad mood. It's not like I'm just pissed off at the world about the move. Just more people piss me off than the people of Hades did. I very rarely used the Douche hat on Hades. I Always had to knock the dust off it before I put it on. On Cerberus though, it seems that I keep that fucker waxed! Between Nuking web sites, and telling ShieldsofValor members to do what ever it takes to get pop items(we kicked ass btw). To going off on a douchebag that found out that leading a endgame linkshell isn't all roses. No shit sherlock.... It takes work, and knowing your members and being fair and a SHIT LOAD of other stuff. (To the grammer nazis I know I used was too many "ands" in that sentence. You can kiss my ass too.)
ShieldsofValor had a douchebag from another Linkshell(Vana'dielsfinest, I believe was the name) that got pissed because we were killing all the despot mobs and thought it was a great idea to Diaga our mobs when they were slept. Note to self: MPK those mother F#@$ers. I'm seriously in a bad mood today. I hope going to baseball practice with the son later will put me in a better mood.
OH ya, btw 1 more rant.... Do you people not love me?! I never get a comment ; ;. I know you fuckers are checking this blog.( I got a nice shinny counter to prove it!) but I never get a comment .. You gonna make me cry.. I'll just blog about you.. (Shit, too late)

Splat
That's pretty much what most of what my week consisted of. Mass amounts of SE hitting the "Kill Dizzmal" button. You would expect after so long the good kind folks at SE would just get bored with killing me by now. Judging from the last time I could check the amounts of deaths I had, I would estimate my total pushing 4-5 thousand by now.
Sunday was the start of my misfortune when Twist and I decided to give NW a try. Now in theory two Blm should be able to kick the shit out of this zone no matter what. Now what really happend was all but that. First off Twist and I used the wrong spells and ended up out of MP and out of hope. Twist hit the dirt first(I laughed), followed shortly by me(Not so funny). Well I was able to get RR back up, where in Twist's case, he caught ADD and forgot. What seemed like a good idea to start with, ended up with me .... Solo... with a dead Taru as my cheerleader. I figured what the hell, I can solo this. Note to self: Bad idea. I started doin my thing and got it down to 40ish% when gravity and bind stopped sticking. Well I panicked after I ran out of mp, then SPLAT, down I went. Second note to self: You can sleep the damn ghosts in limbus. For some reason I wasn't thinking that you could sleep them, even though I have done it over a dozen times and have seen people do it. Third note to self: I'm a dumb ass. Limbus was done very quickly and Twist and I left Limbus with 15K less gil in our pockets and -6K exp. On a better note, we got some valuable information during the short lived run.
Monday night we wanted to take some time to kick the shit out of some KS99s. The first fight was probally the worst non-wipe fight that could happen. Poor Jacinda caught some bad luck and died more than anyone in the LS. With as tough as the fight was, we just KNEW it was gonna drop the speed belt. Guess what, SE said _||_ with no speed belt or BB item. We did several more runs with better times but still the same kind drops. Thanks again SE, screw you too!
I had a baseball game to go to on Tuesday, so I didn't log back on till Thursday after baseball pratice. While I was out of pocket, Allyrose, Twist, and Dierdren lead ShieldsofValor on a great farming run in Sky. They got almost every NM and kicked Byakko's ass all before I was able to log on. That's what I call being efficient! With an hour left in the run, we finished up the last BB and sent parties to both Water and Uii to collect their respective pop items. Water group finshed with the upper hand getting 1 water even though they were camping against 2 other linkshells. The BLM group, even though we claimed alot, was unable to get a Diorite drop(/cry). All in all though it was a good night for SoV and I must say, my hats off to the leadership and the members that got the job done.
Friday was a night of boredem. I called up Alfsta(Alfster from Hades) and we decided to try out hand in Limbus duo. With the life lessons I got from the run with Twist, I was very confident that we could do the zone with out any problems. We started off very good and killed the first ghost and the megaboss with no problems. Now me being cocky, went to pop the chests and got my ass pwned by a link. In doing so, I killed Alfsta in the proccess( HA! bastard). I figured, no biggy we can get up and restart. Then SE said "lol FU Dizzmal!" Alfsta forgot RR and again I was alone in NW waiting for Doom. Note to self: This looks familar. Well history repeated its self and I ended up HPing after getting my ass handed to me 2 more times. Total exp loss the weekend = 10K.
Saturday things were looking up, I got some things that sold and I was able to put a good dent into my fund for Homam legs. Seigan(Hasso from Hades) and I have been picking up ASA missions to finish them. After a few hours of getting our Saps from Ro'maeve we got ready for Dynamis. Aristocrats had Dynamis-Qufim on the calander so I was excited. I am now faced with a moral delima. Both Drk cape and Blm belt drops here.(I think) So I got to thinking, if both drops which do I take? I want both badly, but I can only lot one. #$@! why does the have to be so damn hard!? Oh well SE , in all their glory, made it easy for me. They had the idea to hide the ??? to get subjobs back and while they were at it they said" Lets make them link the entire zone, that would be funny." So they did. 9K exp loss later, the run was over and everyone in the linkshell sat there shaking their heads. We still don't know what caused the mobs to aggro because Alfsta made a perfect sack pull. Even with the clean pull, the mobs still came back to bite us in the ass, right in the middle of Snoll camps. In other words, SE mashed the"Kill Dizzmal" button way to many times and it carried over to the rest of the linkshell.
After Dynamis-death, Dier,Ally,Alfsta,Lind, and I went to go get some xp back. 4-5 hours later, we got our buffers and a ton of merit points, which went to the Blm to make me die faster(if that is possible) then called it a night around 1-2 in the morning.
Sunday I woke up early, because my son had his friend over and they were loud as hell at 8:00 in the morning. Note to self: Drug kid and friend next time I plan to crack out till early and want to sleep in the next day. I figured I'd get some early day xping in to start the day off. I jumped on Blm to test out my new powers in Xarc[S]. First nuke when off "Burst II does 1836 damage " with no day or elemental help Hellz ya! Then the next nuke " Freeze II does 2073 damage" oshit! By now I'm quit happy with the numbers I'm seeing. Then SE said "Screw you Dizz" and I resisted on the next nuke. You heard me right. With over 300+ elemental skill, I resisted on a damn pet and aggroed two gigas. Thanks SE, Well I picked myself up and not 5 seconds later, the damn dragon flew down to eat me... Before that point I had gotten roughly 4K exp. Between the two deaths and the HP, I broke even. I guess at least it's not a loss. I'm really starting to hate you SE..
Seigan and I got a few more people that wanted to help(ie, we drug Ally, Dier, and Tidis kicking and screaming.) and did the second to the last fight of ASA. We picked up a Thf on the way to the fight. I loved this fight! Nothing brings me more joy that punching a Taru in the face. I find it completely relaxing to Asuran Fists a Blm taru. Note to self: Must bring Miae and Gooky to Ballista more often. ^^ We kicked the shit out of the fight, and walked off with close to the record. Ally and Dier wanted to do ENMs, so I followed. We got the Hagun ENM done quickly, getting another Cloud Evoker and a Forager's Mantle. Oh well more gil in the bank. Sooner or later, ShieldsofValor will have to do Ouryu Cometh to help us get rid of the Evokers. That will be a later update.
Then the final mission of the night was to complete ASA. Seigan,Ally,Dier, and myself started shouting for DDs. Of all jobs that that you figure what would be hard to get, you wouldn't think it would be DDs. But I'll be damned if it did take me over an hour of shouting. Finally we got two dragons that needed it. Finally we got ready to go. Then it hit me. I started looking at the two Drgs that we were fighting with. I could only think of one word,"Fuck". One of them, happens to be the one that was a know it all, was meleeing in AFv2 body and WS in Assault Jerkin. /facepalm. Now I don't consider myself an elitist, but I mean come on, really? I'll save you the jest of the headache the Hexes were and skip straight to the fight. It was me Rdm/Nin, DierWhm, Ally Drg,Seigan Smn, and two gimp ass Drgs. We start fighting, and from the get go it doesn't look like it will be too bad. I started thinking that, "Hey this isn't too bad", why the HELL did I say that. The little taru bitch raged, then commenced to kick our asses like we were going out of style. I ended up Chainspell cure IVing myself and who ever I could get to while the DDs kept beating on it. The whm was down to 1% when we wiped the first time. 1 damn %! I hate you SE. Well we figured that rage was down, so now it wont be an issue. Allyrose just had to die in the middle of the circle so we had to fight without her. We got up and started fighting again. With out our only decently geared DD, we were toast. The whm raped the two gimps before they got it anywhere close to dead. After that we were laughed at and kicked from the BC. A nice black eye to finish the night with. Thanks again SE. The thing is, Seigan is just as pissed as I was, and we decided to go do the hexes again so we can be ready for another fight when it presented itself. After the Hexes, We decided to shout for a few mins to see if we could get a few more SMNs. I figured if we could get 5 Smns and 1 Rdm, we could try again pretty quickly. To my suprise, we got 3 more in the matter of a few mins. After waiting what seemed like forever, we went in. Knowing what to expect this time around, made it a good bit better. Not easy by any since of the word, but better. The Smns did their thing and the Whm went down, but not till after it kicked our ass. We wiped and RRed then kicked the crap out of the fight. All in all I died around 6 more times during the both fights. Not an easy fight to me, but doable. I think if we had some DDs that was geared more like Ally, we wouldn't have had a problem. Since that didn't happen, we got our asses kicked. I still enjoyed watching the SMNs kick the demonic taru's ass. Now I have to decide what pants to get. I guess we will see though.
Sunday was the start of my misfortune when Twist and I decided to give NW a try. Now in theory two Blm should be able to kick the shit out of this zone no matter what. Now what really happend was all but that. First off Twist and I used the wrong spells and ended up out of MP and out of hope. Twist hit the dirt first(I laughed), followed shortly by me(Not so funny). Well I was able to get RR back up, where in Twist's case, he caught ADD and forgot. What seemed like a good idea to start with, ended up with me .... Solo... with a dead Taru as my cheerleader. I figured what the hell, I can solo this. Note to self: Bad idea. I started doin my thing and got it down to 40ish% when gravity and bind stopped sticking. Well I panicked after I ran out of mp, then SPLAT, down I went. Second note to self: You can sleep the damn ghosts in limbus. For some reason I wasn't thinking that you could sleep them, even though I have done it over a dozen times and have seen people do it. Third note to self: I'm a dumb ass. Limbus was done very quickly and Twist and I left Limbus with 15K less gil in our pockets and -6K exp. On a better note, we got some valuable information during the short lived run.
Monday night we wanted to take some time to kick the shit out of some KS99s. The first fight was probally the worst non-wipe fight that could happen. Poor Jacinda caught some bad luck and died more than anyone in the LS. With as tough as the fight was, we just KNEW it was gonna drop the speed belt. Guess what, SE said _||_ with no speed belt or BB item. We did several more runs with better times but still the same kind drops. Thanks again SE, screw you too!
I had a baseball game to go to on Tuesday, so I didn't log back on till Thursday after baseball pratice. While I was out of pocket, Allyrose, Twist, and Dierdren lead ShieldsofValor on a great farming run in Sky. They got almost every NM and kicked Byakko's ass all before I was able to log on. That's what I call being efficient! With an hour left in the run, we finished up the last BB and sent parties to both Water and Uii to collect their respective pop items. Water group finshed with the upper hand getting 1 water even though they were camping against 2 other linkshells. The BLM group, even though we claimed alot, was unable to get a Diorite drop(/cry). All in all though it was a good night for SoV and I must say, my hats off to the leadership and the members that got the job done.
Friday was a night of boredem. I called up Alfsta(Alfster from Hades) and we decided to try out hand in Limbus duo. With the life lessons I got from the run with Twist, I was very confident that we could do the zone with out any problems. We started off very good and killed the first ghost and the megaboss with no problems. Now me being cocky, went to pop the chests and got my ass pwned by a link. In doing so, I killed Alfsta in the proccess( HA! bastard). I figured, no biggy we can get up and restart. Then SE said "lol FU Dizzmal!" Alfsta forgot RR and again I was alone in NW waiting for Doom. Note to self: This looks familar. Well history repeated its self and I ended up HPing after getting my ass handed to me 2 more times. Total exp loss the weekend = 10K.
Saturday things were looking up, I got some things that sold and I was able to put a good dent into my fund for Homam legs. Seigan(Hasso from Hades) and I have been picking up ASA missions to finish them. After a few hours of getting our Saps from Ro'maeve we got ready for Dynamis. Aristocrats had Dynamis-Qufim on the calander so I was excited. I am now faced with a moral delima. Both Drk cape and Blm belt drops here.(I think) So I got to thinking, if both drops which do I take? I want both badly, but I can only lot one. #$@! why does the have to be so damn hard!? Oh well SE , in all their glory, made it easy for me. They had the idea to hide the ??? to get subjobs back and while they were at it they said" Lets make them link the entire zone, that would be funny." So they did. 9K exp loss later, the run was over and everyone in the linkshell sat there shaking their heads. We still don't know what caused the mobs to aggro because Alfsta made a perfect sack pull. Even with the clean pull, the mobs still came back to bite us in the ass, right in the middle of Snoll camps. In other words, SE mashed the"Kill Dizzmal" button way to many times and it carried over to the rest of the linkshell.
After Dynamis-death, Dier,Ally,Alfsta,Lind, and I went to go get some xp back. 4-5 hours later, we got our buffers and a ton of merit points, which went to the Blm to make me die faster(if that is possible) then called it a night around 1-2 in the morning.
Sunday I woke up early, because my son had his friend over and they were loud as hell at 8:00 in the morning. Note to self: Drug kid and friend next time I plan to crack out till early and want to sleep in the next day. I figured I'd get some early day xping in to start the day off. I jumped on Blm to test out my new powers in Xarc[S]. First nuke when off "Burst II does 1836 damage " with no day or elemental help Hellz ya! Then the next nuke " Freeze II does 2073 damage" oshit! By now I'm quit happy with the numbers I'm seeing. Then SE said "Screw you Dizz" and I resisted on the next nuke. You heard me right. With over 300+ elemental skill, I resisted on a damn pet and aggroed two gigas. Thanks SE, Well I picked myself up and not 5 seconds later, the damn dragon flew down to eat me... Before that point I had gotten roughly 4K exp. Between the two deaths and the HP, I broke even. I guess at least it's not a loss. I'm really starting to hate you SE..
Seigan and I got a few more people that wanted to help(ie, we drug Ally, Dier, and Tidis kicking and screaming.) and did the second to the last fight of ASA. We picked up a Thf on the way to the fight. I loved this fight! Nothing brings me more joy that punching a Taru in the face. I find it completely relaxing to Asuran Fists a Blm taru. Note to self: Must bring Miae and Gooky to Ballista more often. ^^ We kicked the shit out of the fight, and walked off with close to the record. Ally and Dier wanted to do ENMs, so I followed. We got the Hagun ENM done quickly, getting another Cloud Evoker and a Forager's Mantle. Oh well more gil in the bank. Puttin the Douchebag Hat on.
This week has pretty much been meh.. I normally hold myself to a higher moral standard, and for the most part I'm dissapointed with myself on how I handled a certain situation. Well, life goes on and we live to play another day. Now the run down of the week,
Tuesday I didn't play, and Wednesday wasn't much better, but at least I did play. Wednesday was the day the title of my title happened. Where after a run in with a Linkshell leader over some false information of some friends lead to harsh words then me taking it too far and nuking a site that the person was the main leader of. Yep I did it, I took it out of the game and killed a website that my friends use. I had grounds to get upset, but I shouldn't have went that far. For that I appologize to the people that used to use the site. For the leader, I still have no remose for. So for that person I give you this:
After the event I went to do NW with Miae and Gooky. I am still learning the things I can do with BLM atm, so that night was another lesson from two of the best BLMs in the game. The run went fairly well with the only deaths coming from Miae MPKing me, oh and a lucky ass Metor from Behemoth(bastard). Got a good 47 coins( woot more GILZ!) which will help me with my new goal. As some of you know, I have been after those damn Homam Legs for the last 3-4 years with no avail. Now with me Limbus Lsless(lol my own word there) I am done with hoping on Limbus shells, and will no just build my gil and buy the stuff and keep going. So that means BLM has to be put on hold to get gear for a job that I will USE on endgame stuff. Oh well I'm about 1/2 the way there now, so it's only a matter of time.
Thursday was God day in Sky. Our favorite customer, Dominik, decided to join us for a shot at N-hands. He gave us some nice compliments on the speed that we will Gods and some of bally stuff that we do that he hasn't seen other do. I like these kind of statments, It makes me feel proud to be a member of ShieldsofValor. ^^ We had great drops and we got to sell a pair of Byakko Haidates, the first time in awhile.
Saturday was Dynamis-Sandy and as much as I tried to hope some of the Orc NMs to charm us so I could kill Miae, but alas no luck. I did how ever get to eat dirt a few times. Overall we had a good run and alot of people got some much deserved gear.
That was pretty much the extent of my boring ass week. Me vs another douche turned me into the bigger douche, and that was sadly the highlight of my week.

It's War Time!
The update has come and gone, what we are left with is massive attendance in Sky, Dynamis linkshells fighting to get into zones, and Campaign mobs that die as fast as Dynamis mobs do. I haven't had to go Exp yet so I'm really dreading that. So far that is the negative aspects. Positive outlooks include: New people, rare items that the deeper Campaign zones hold that will be cheaper, and we kick Besieged mobs asses. The shouts in whitegate are funny as well.
I have learned a few things since switching to Cerberus. Number one: Inglorion is a douche and is hated by a great majority of the population, both Hades and even more so by the normal Cerberus players. The E-peen combat between the two servers has reached comic status. Both sides have the "We are gonna dominate the other guys" outlook. Which the survival of the fittest will tell in time who stays and goes. With 2 of the bigger Sky Linkshells from Hades, Shields of Valor and Wings of Dragons, on Cerberus now there will be battles. The other thing I learned is that no matter how bleak something looks, Linkshell memebers will strive to make it work. Yes, the leaders have a tough job trying to work though the mess of working with other leaders, but in the end it's the members that go the extra mile to make sure that thier Linkshell survives no matter what the cost. This seems to have become the norm in both ShieldsofValor and Aristocrats. Last night we boasted some of our best numbers for farming than we have had in the past 3 months. On Aristocrats's side it has been the same with 25-30+ people at each run. Maybe this merge wasn't so bad after all. There will be some linkshells that fall, but that is just human nature.
Dynamis-Jueno was scheduled for Tuesday and we took the zone and made it our bitch. We had a great run with 11 AFv2s, included Blm feet witch brings me to 5/5 ^^, and over 700+ in currency that dropped ^^ Very proud moment for the members of Aristocrats to be able to mobilize that fast and get everyone pearled then have a kick ass run. My hats off to the leadership ^^ My only issuse is with the new color of the Linkpearl. I WANTS MY RED PEARL BACK!!! /stare but other than that, I is happy.
Thursday was Kirin day for ShieldsofValor, and I was a tad nervous that there wasn't gonna be a huge amount of warning due to no one having pearls to see the Linkshell message. But again the members came though and we have great turn out for Kirin zerg, which btw we made it go splat even though the fucker slept us before we could get poison pots on us. Drops for both runs included Wlegs,Dbody, and Kirin's Osode X2. Not a bad night if I don't say so myself.
Friday was ZMN with Now or Never and it was another one of those nights that SE said, "lol Dizzmal hasn't died in a few hours, LETS KILL HIM!" and 22K exp later ... my Blm started to whimper a bit. All in all a good night and I made 200K at the cost of 22K exp ... Oh well.

Saturday we did Dynamis-Beacy, ah what a run! 8 Iceland AFv2s and 450+ currency. We ran though the zone so fast that we still had over 45 mins left after clear to go and smack around hydras. I was able to come Blm and had a blast. I can start to see the new starting to wear off on Blm in Dynamis. Gonna have to start seeing more blood with Drk soon so I can get my massive loss of Exp fix.
Sunday I logged on a bit early to farm some organs with Alfster,Miae, and Gooky. Note to self: 4 BLM with addiction to overkilling nukes = kill anything in zone.. I watched Miae pump out a 4.1K AM2 on a open mouthed Goldfish, which ya I know 0.o double damage but that still is over 2K normal damage on a mob. I did a 3.7K but that is still no where close to Miae ; ; damn taru. After Now or Never went to go do Omega. Nine people vs Omega again, We had 1 death right at the end, but still came away with Homam hands and lolhead.. damn you Omega!! give me some LEGS! Still a good night
Monday, the day that my title is named after. WAR! They may not have bombed Pearl Harbor on us but they, i.e they started it(as childish as that sounds.) As the majority of Shields of Valor formed parties @ Despot( The site of the first run in.) We started pulling bigger and bigger pulls. We noticed that they started stealing our mobs. So we, as a respectable Linkshell, put our douche hats on and started stealing their mobs right back. Then of course came the trash talk.. One of them said "IT"S WAR!!" not a bright idea when you are against 18+ higher end players. As soon as one of their pulls went unclaimed I stole that sucker and sure enough, Despot! SoV 1- lolCerberusLS 0. We claimed and got the drop. Then we went out after SteamCleaner, 1 party @ each possible pop zones. Low and behold the LS followed us and got pissed as we started claiming the orbs. SoV2 - Others 0. SC never popped so we went for Diorite and Water. At that point we split up by sending 1 party to Uii, 1 to Nexus, and one to Water. Me being in the BLM party we started off claiming on another linkshell even though they outnumbered us 2-1. We killed much much faster as well. I guess when you get those same blood thirsty BLM in a small room, shit tends to die.. and quickly. After awhile the bigger group Warped out as we were winning the claim war. About 15 mins later another group came in stayed about 20 mins then found the same fate then warped out. Again about 15-20 mins later another shell came up, they outnumbered us about 1.5-1 so it wasn't horrible, but they killed so slow I swear I could catch a nap after they pulled. They were some of the nicer ones though, so that is at least a positive. They were also more stubborn than the other linkshells. We wound up getting a diorite and popping Uii, then proceded to outclaim them for the next 30 mins 15-0. Towards the end of the run they got three claims, so it wasn't a complete loss on their party but still SoV 3-Others 0. Even though they were getting out claimed so badly they still kept a good attitude and made some jokes while we were up there. Made it enjoyable for the most part. I would have still liked more pop items but I guess that is something we will have to deal with as time goes on.
High points was when Nega died(My favorite) when gooky got pwned by Uii( loltaruHp) and when gooky had a major resist and his AMII only did 400~500 damage. So what if all his others did 1900+, This was still a win for me. Oh and when the Sam from the other Linkshell was dancing with him while we were claiming. That was fun as well.

I still remember my last moment on Hades. I miss my low populated server and the fun time I had on it. This one seems to be ok for the most part, but I'll never forget how I spent my last night on Hades.. Kicking Swordman's ass.

We wound up getting a diorite and popping Uii, then proceded to outclaim them for the next 30 mins 15-0. Towards the end of the run they got three claims, so it wasn't a complete loss on their party but still SoV 3-Others 0. Even though they were getting out claimed so badly they still kept a good attitude and made some jokes while we were up there. Made it enjoyable for the most part. I would have still liked more pop items but I guess that is something we will have to deal with as time goes on.
High points was when Nega died(My favorite) when gooky got pwned by Uii( loltaruHp) and when gooky had a major resist and his AMII only did 400~500 damage. So what if all his others did 1900+, This was still a win for me. Oh and when the Sam from the other Linkshell was dancing with him while we were claiming. That was fun as well.

I still remember my last moment on Hades. I miss my low populated server and the fun time I had on it. This one seems to be ok for the most part, but I'll never forget how I spent my last night on Hades.. Kicking Swordman's ass.
