When Dumb Attacks.

I've had a bad week. Not so much on FFXI but more at work. Yesterday topped off the week(I really hope it doesn't get worse.) Between dead cats(No I didn't kill it.) someone getting hurt at work(Damn Workmans Comp) and my dumb ass move yesterday, I just wanna go emo and crawl into a hole.

I'll get into that stuff a bit later. Now the rundown! Monday we faced off Ouryu again. Last time the bastard got lucky with poor attendence and a lack of knowledge of the fight and we ran out of time with about about 10% left. Tonight, however was a different story. We kicked it's ass with around 10 mins left. Not bad for only our second try. Got the Monarch orb and next up, Plan for Bv2 fight ^^.

Wednesday I jumped on to help out some of our new members with some UFO killing. Then I went to help Dier with some jack ass of an assault mission. Wtf SE Lebros supplies sucks ass. After getting our asses kick the first time, we came up with a different game plan and got though pretty easily.

Afterwards I went with Neojuggernaut and Co. to go kill Odin. That bastard is the reason I lost my ass with my Elemental Torque... (fucker) Anyway we go with Drk(me),Mnk(Neo)Sam,Drg,Brd, and Rdm. That thing hit the dust so fast that I had flashbacks for Top getting me killed again.

Now the story behind the title. So I have had one hell of a week. Monday some douchebag with a BMW(Big Metal Waste) ( I really don't like BMW, or any other high end car that people that can't afford to service them buys.) with a dead cat stuck under the damn motor. I'll save ya'll the gory details, but just remember this. An animal that has been dead for 4-5 days on top of a hot motor, stinks. REALLY BAD!! Anyway, Day number two (Tuesday) I had one of my co workers have a 900lb machine fall on his ass. So now I'm short handed(We still don't know how it fell.)

Then yesterday, the mass amount of fail that I had was off the charts. So everyone at work was told that we needed to move our trucks. One of the service truck drives was about to work on a big ass earth mover tire. So I get the bright idea (was a bright idea for a redneck) and climb one of the mounts of dirt with my 4x4. Now that was pretty easy to to but still. After about 20 mins(Enough time for the truck to sink into the soft dirt pile.) I decided to back it off the hill. At that time I realized that I am a dumb ass. I just wanted to shar my phail with ya'll so you could get a good laugh.

That is where my Blm exp is going latley. I always laughed at the idea of a 44K buffer untill Blm. Normally I like to keep a 10K buffer then merit as much as I can. Pld I died a good bit due to my "better the Pld dead than everyone else" mentallity. So I just KNEW that Pld would probally die more than any other job. I was wrong. As mnk I found out that other Plds didn't have the same honorable mentallity as I did. So Mnk wasted some exp(Mainly due to my stupidity. see below)

With the Dynamic Quad of Toprob,Tetsuiga, Swordman, and myself, I found myself randomly killing the group. Was fun though.

Then I leveled Rdm, I WISH I could lose exp on that thing. You know only enough to make it delevel it to 37(well 49 after the level cap increase.) Rdm in party or any event that make me refresh whore is my bane. Now solo/Duo/Trio/ you get the damn idea, Rdm is great. I love the job then, other than that I'd rather beat my head on the wall.

After Rdm I leveled Drk. Dear God, there can be no way in hell I could lose more exp than on Drk. Which most the time is pretty funny(see 22 deaths in windy) Right now it is my favorite DD job. I can inflict massive damage then try to stay alive till one of two things happen #1 stay alive till the mob is dead or #2 get my ass pwned(happens more) At this point and time I figured nothing could compare to the massive amouts of exp loss.

Then came Blm, Wtf SE really? How the hell can you lose 20K exp in one weekened? Ya I did that, multiple times. At first I figured that I was being a noob and over nuking(I was at times). Then I got to looking and found out that if I'm the only one not resisting out of 6 other Blms, that gets me killed. That happened a crap ton on Tinnin and a damn vampire looking thing. Note to self .. needs more exp parties ><

By far Blm loses more exp than any job that I have leveled. Either SE hates me or , I just suck( don't answer that)

The return of Orangecrush!! That's right my OC is back! Now I'm not sure if many of you remember her, but she is one of the nicest people in the world(besides me)(don't laugh to hard). After over a year and a half without contact I got a text message wondering if I was Dizzmal.(a text on my personal phone asking if I was dizzmal, that might be bad ; ;) Then when  it said it was OC, I was like HOLY SHIT(true words.) She logged on later and I got to take some pics.




I hung out with OC for awhile before Dynamis. Her first event back on the game after a year and a half of no play was merit with Me(drk)Dom(Drg)Ally(Drg)Alf(Sam)and Dier as Brd. Poor thing. She did well with very few deaths. We went to Dynamis-Valkrum afterwards to get payback on the last run.

Welcome Back OC!!!!!

I skipped The normal run down of the week so here it goes. Thursday SoV took it's first try at Ouryu Cometh. Normally SoV has great attendance but for that night, I guess people said "Ah fuck it" and decided not to show up or at least show up late. Anyway We finally get started with 16 people. The fight started a bit rough but smoothed out though out the fight till around 80% when our two best Blms had to go(I hope the kids are feeling better) from then out we just kind of ran out of gas. We did very good for our first run and only 14 people(2-3 of those were dead most the time as well). So tonight will be our rematch, Payback is a bitch Ouryu!

Sword and I were bored Sunday and decided to take it to Limbus and Duo NW. For the people that follow this blog, they know that I have tried this and has started to get better at it over time. Tonights run was a major victory for me. Sword and I cleared! Woot, after a pretty rough start we got in gear and got the job done. I was very proud of the two of us. Next up Kill all mega bosses.(We skipped them all but the first and last.

The MegaBoss on the final floor wanted to be a prick with a nicely timed thunderspark + Metor that killed both me and sword. I still believe that someone at SE wanted to kill me.

On the end note I want to bring up my DoucheBag of the week. This one goes to a duo named Homebent and Jitu.Congratz you both are douchebags!! Here is why: We start a manaburn party and invite Homebent to join us. Well after the third resist in a row(Sword and I were doing 500-750 and this douche was doing 64s, consistantly) I start looking at this guy. He is nuking in full HMP set. After two warnings I finally kick him and get Thejew(yes I laugh every time I see that name) Well he gets pissed and goes get his gimped ass friend and they start camping on us and laughing when they get a claim. I'm sorry I would not be bragging that I'm hurting exp when I couldn't break 1K on a tier IV nuke on a damn pet! But they did and finished the night with Sword and I showing them what a Blm should be.

Life Lessons The Hard Way.

Anyone else notice the lack of writers block I have had? I have been blogging my ass off. Damn you Cerberus, your giving me too much to blog about. Between the new events I'm doing and the growing amounts of people pissin me off, I've had enough to burn the keys off the work pc. Oh well at least there is enough comic relief for everyone.

Crafting... How I hate you. Most people that have known me for awhile know that I've been a higher level Bonecrafter. After 80 I have found a lack in wanting to really skill up from there. That and I'm too broke to afford crafting. I'm currently at 81.9 BC and holding steady... I tried to skill up the other day and much to my dismay, I broke the first 3 synths ... 3 skill levels away from my level and I broke 3 straight in a row. That wouldn't normally bother me(lying) but now that when I skill up and break I lose 9-13K if it is a crit break. After sinking around 100K and getting only .1 skill up I decided to call it a night.. Round 1 SE 1 Dizzmal 0...



Even though this is a FFXI blog, it includes some of my RL as well as other games. Other than FFXI, I play a slew of other games including but not limited to, FFXIII, TF2,FFVII( I can't get enough of this game) AoEIII, CoD, and Dragon Age. My new current addiction is TribalWars, A free MMO that is like Age of Empires that comes down to many players all building their village and competing for world dominence. I find it funny when I attack someone and get an email the next day that states "Your an Ass hole"  and "Fuck You!!!!!!" This brings a smile to my face. It hurt my feeling so much that I sent 5 more attacks to fully kill his entire army. Dizzmal 1, Douchebag -300 troops.

Ah the joys of the Douche Hat. Oh well, thats what he gets for sending scouts to me.

After Seth's baseball game I came home to catch the second half of Dynamis Sandy with Aristocrats. My first chance to try out my new Homam legs. Since I was so late I couldn't really test what I could do during a full run, but I pulled out 75K damage in about an hour an a half. Not to bad I wouldn't think According to my parse I was 12K above Allyrose(The highest DD) with her pet doing around 7K. That was just my parse, keep in mind that I was late so mine isn't the full run results. But it's a good way for me to judge how I will do later.

Dier,Ally and I went to do ENM after Dynamis. We ported out lazy asses up and did the boring run to the BC. We have done this same ENM for a long ass time, but never had this kind of problems. We go in and I realize that I'm a dumb ass as I found out I was Drk/Blm(/facepalm) So the first thing that happened was I go my ass killed. Great start if I don't say so myself. (read: Screw you SE) So I get up and try to help Ally and Dier, but Dier somehow pulled hate because she had to start cure bombing Ally. I pull hate off of Dier to keep her from going splat, and get myself killed again. Luckly Dier and Ally lived, but I was 0-2 against SE tonight. We rest full up and go back to fighting. We finish the BC with out much of a hitch and open the chest. Hagun! and some other bs. I was happy about the nice drop, but it would have been nicer if people haven't undercut it to death. since the merge it has dropped to half it's normal price. ; ; Still 500k/each isn't bad

Dier and I hit up "Brothers" ENM afterwards. I hate the climb. After a good hour to run up the mountian twice, we finally get to the BC. By this time though we are both tired and really shouldn't be doing anything that requires any thought. The short of it includes SE mashing the "Kill the shit out of Dizzmal" button several times in under 5 minutes. We went in, Dier got dropped first thing, I nuked the small one down to about 40% before the other one woke up. They then teamed up and kicked my ass. I died in the circle(Yep I'm a douche) and the run was over. Nice waste of an hour or so. It was way past my bed time, so I feel asleep cussin out SE.  

Great Start!

What a great start to the week! Probally one of the best I can remember. Lets see, got my ASA legs and a pretty nice earring Sunday, had a very good duo run with Twist, and most of all, Homam Legs!! Things are looking up!

ShieldsofValor took on gods in Sky yesterday. We mixed a few people around to give them some new looks for Gods. When we got up to Suzaku, OnWingsofDragons were ready to kill it. We sat though a pretty hectic fight. Once it 2 houred, people started dropping like flies. We pretty much stayed out of the way to let it run it's course. One good thing about Wings is that they are HUGE! I swear they have 25-30+ people at gods. I really wouldn't know with that many people. If SoV had more than 20 at one time, it's time to shut off apps. Nothing in sky requires more than 18 people and even that is pushing it. The only reason SoV has more than that is from inactives returning to the game or stuff like that.

Anyway back on track, Wings finally killed Suzy and moved on. My goal was to let wings kill theirs so we could just be missing each other. We had 3 pop sets of each god, so I figured we shouldnt be meeting each other since they had less pops. It wasn't really a great night for normal drops, but gil drops rained from the sky! I swear it was one of the best gil runs I can remember. We continued killing gods with out much of a hitch, If you don't count Neo getting his ass handed to him a good bit of the night. But that wasn't really his fault. Galka from birth is a disease kinda like retardation, just with more hair. We got done with the run and ended on a high note with Carinde finally getting Byakko Haidates! After sky Twist and I decided to try out NW limbus as a Duo again. As some of you may remember, our first try at this zone ended up with getting our asses handed to us with out even killing a damn mob. The ghost was sitting their flipping us off, laughing all the way back to it's spawn spot.  Long story short, we were two pissed off Blms. This time however, we had our ducks in a row. After several runs stalking Gooky and Miae, I picked up enough information to be able to do the zone with out them holding my hand. First floor was a little tough but we got though it with out any deaths. The second floor was very easy, but Twist decided he didn't like me too much and got me pwned. That didn't slow us down too much. But on the way to the portal I aggroed and found out that those damn buffalo are fast as hell! We ate dirt and started running low on time. This time we both had RR so we got up and ported up. Third floor went with out a hitch with the exception of me forgetting a good bit of the TEs. Yep I'm that dumb ass. Anyway we did what we had to do then ported up. Fourth floor was really easy, we got done with the floor and got all the TEs with a little over 15 mins left when we ported up. Last floor on only the second time we tried is quite impressive for any two people. But the fact that we were only 75 Blms for around 2 months and we were able to pull this off is on a whole new level.


 We killed 3 Behemoths and had around 3 mins left after resting, we called it done. We missed a few coin chances, but still finished with 30 coins and some reassurance that we can do this.If I would have gotten all the TEs we would have had plenty of time to clear the zone. Next time will be even better!



During the NW run I also waiting on Arcanum to kill Omega. Dierdren was nice enough to work me into the buying list for Homam legs so all though NW I was thinking/praying for them to drop. During mid run(Sorry twist Homam > Your life) I had to drop party because they dropped!! Finally Homam, the missing link to my Pld(and Drk) mostly Pld though was in my reach! Dier has become my new humping stick for this. She knows how many times I got screwed out of it over the past 3-4 years. I am indebt to her for this act of kindness.

New Adventures

For the most part my PDHS is over with. I'm back to my normal redneck hick ass. I got to do a number of new things this week. Some new events that really was a nice change of pace.

Starting the week off with a great farming run Monday. We seriously dominated the other linkshells farming at the same time of us. I blogged a little bit about the run the other day when I was ranting about a linkshell getting pissed and trying to MPK us. We got every NM in sky including Diorite and Water. Got to show those bastards whos boss.

Wednesday I stalked Miae and Gooky while they showed me the ropes to some more ENMs and another run of NW. Like normal we raped NW and both ENMs(Miae soloed 1 and Gooky and I killed the other.) Not great drops, but we got another Cloud Evoker. I'm starting to lose count on how many we have ><

Thursday I had baseball practice with Seth so I missed the farming run with SoV. I wasn't needed anyway as they had a repeat of Mondays farming run. After sky I decided that I wanted to try "Splitting Heirs"  We looked for about 1-2 hours before we got bored and went with 5 people. That was a mistake. Esca,Tidis,Neojuggernuts, Alfsta, and I went in ready for battle. Boy did we get one too lol. To be honest, we did very well for only 5 people. With only 2 DDs we couldn't quite keep the adds dead long enough. But we got it down to around 45% before they cleaned our clock. Note to self: Bring at least 6 people to somthing that hard.

Friday the wife was sleeping, so I took advantage of a free gaming night. First thing I did was get a group together for ISNM. Koroki,Dierdren,Neo,Tidis,Peitha and I went to go make some puks for splat. Very easy runs but Tidis was the only lucky fucker to get a khroma ore( see: Bastard). We agreed to make a night out of BC fights. We went to go do ANNM in Batilla Downs [s]. I swear I lost brain cells waiting on Neo and Pietha to get ready. Neo had good excuse, he needed more Allied Notes before he could go. Since he was the Pld, he was a tad important. Peitha, on the other hand, took a nap or somthing. Either way, we finally got everyone together( After I started beating my head ont he desk.) and started the fight against pissed off tigers. I must say that was one of the smoothest ANNM fights I have been in. No one died, I think Dier got close once, but SE was being nice tonight and they left the "Kill Group" button alone. When we got done with that Peitha and Koroki left the group and Alfsta and Allyrose joined. We went to have a rematch with the Orcish bastard that kicked my ass the other night. After waiting for a bit, we finally made our way to the BC. We were met with a ton of people. Apperently, in SE infinite wisdom, they didn't make "Splitting Heirs"  an instance fight. So what that means is 30+ people spaming the damn door in hopes to beat the other groups. Alfsta got lucky and we got to go in after about 3 minutes. This time around we had 6 people and we knew what to expect. Neo was Pld/Dnc for this fight (I thought it would be a good idea, or at least some comic relief to watch him go splat.) Ally, Alf , and I was DD's with Dier  as Whm and Tidis as Rdm. Fight went very smooth, Neo used his 2 hour just to hold hate and Dier did it just to keep us alive at the end. All in all it was a pretty smooth fight. We got Witch Sash to drop, which Tidis out lotted everyone one(see: Bastard again!) Great night for the group, and even a better one for Tidis(Bastard).

Sunday afternoon the wife was taking a nap (anyone else noticing a pattern here?) so I jumped on for a quick ISNM. Fights were easy like normal, but SE still shat on me when it came to drops. So I sat around bored for bit looking for somthing to do. Neo found it for me quickly. He was popping Tinnin, a Hydra want to be. I've never faught Hydra or Tinnin, so I didn't know what to expect. They were set on Plds and DDs, so Neo told me to come Blm(woot!) Right before the fight I went to get my ASA legs and a earring that I had gotten for a key item during the storyline. I put Movement speed +8% and -4% damage taken for Blm legs. The earring I got had MAB +1 and MACC +1 with some spell interruption rate down on it. Looks like I found a replacement for Abyssal untill I get a novio some time in the future(read: never)  Anyway, back to Tinnin. I found out two things. Number one, my Blm isn't as gimp as I think it is. It's still gimp, just not as gimp as others. And number Two, Tinnin is a resistant little ass hat. My normal nukes were hitting in the 900+ range when other Blms were hitting 200-400 range. I tried to see how hard I could hit, so I Elemental Seal + Freeze II(see: bad idea) I pulled hate after a 1550+ Freeze II. Shortly after, I ate the dirt. I'm sure someone at SE got a good laugh out of that. I got a raise and went right back to nuking. More like nuke, have 0 mp, rest, nuke, no mp, rest.... Now I know how a Galka Pld feels, Cure IV> no mp, wait for refresh to give mp, Cure IV, no mp.. lol. That sucks. Anyway Tinnin went down quickly and We were told to free lot the Eni head. It sucks, but I lotted anyway. Freelot = Dizz lot no matter how shitty it is. I'll be damned if I didn't win it. -1 Inv. Maybe I'll use on my thf later. Second Tinnin went down just as fast, with out me getting my ass handed to me. I got a Hydra Scale, and danced a little jig. 120K ^^. Damn I should help out more often! All in all was a good day till the wife woke up and went RAWR!! then I went to go play ball with her and Seth.

PostDoucheHatSyndrome that is what I'm suffering from atm. It's the time after being a douche where you either A: Feel bad for being a douche or B: regret for being a douche in the first place.. or C: pleased as hell with yourself for being a douche.

I'm a good mix of all three at the moment. Normally, after strapping on the Douche Hat, I feel bad for lowering my standards and working on  gaining the title of "DoucheBag". I'm not quite there(I think..) but if things keep it up on Cerberus, I may end up becoming "King Douche" which I must take from Neojuggernaut(j/k). No I'm fairly sure that "King Douche" goes to a certain linkshell leader named Inglorion that enjoys shouting stupid shit in whitegate just to get things started. For some reason this guy like to spam /check me. Normally I don't mind being checked, but when it's 10 times in a damn row, that pisses me off.

Normally the last stage of PDHS is sadness. I'm not really sad about the douche hat part as much as I miss my friend, Toprob, My brother in arms. His British humor is on a level all by itself. We used to do everything together. When I finally beat ASA, I was happy but, at the same time, I was sad that Top wasn't there to enjoy it with me. Oh well maybe one day he will be back to terrorize Vana'diel with me again. That way we both can put on our Douche Hats on and really give people hell!

Anger

For some reason since the move to Cerberus, I have constantly been in a semi-bad mood. It's not like I'm just pissed off at the world about the move. Just more people piss me off than the people of Hades did. I very rarely used the Douche hat on Hades. I Always had to knock the dust off it before I put it on. On Cerberus though, it seems that I keep that fucker waxed! Between Nuking web sites, and telling ShieldsofValor members to do what ever it takes to get pop items(we kicked ass btw). To going off on a douchebag that found out that leading a endgame linkshell isn't all roses. No shit sherlock.... It takes work, and knowing your members and being fair and a SHIT LOAD of other stuff. (To the grammer nazis I know I used was too many "ands" in that sentence. You can kiss my ass too.)

ShieldsofValor had a douchebag from another Linkshell(Vana'dielsfinest, I believe was the name) that got pissed because we were killing all the despot mobs and thought it was a great idea to Diaga our mobs when they were slept. Note to self: MPK those mother F#@$ers. I'm seriously in a bad mood today.  I hope going to baseball practice with the son later will put me in a better mood.

OH ya, btw 1 more rant.... Do you people not love me?! I never get a comment ; ;. I know you fuckers are checking this blog.( I got a nice shinny counter to prove it!) but I never get a comment .. You gonna make me cry.. I'll just blog about you.. (Shit, too late)
